GM Diet Day 6 for Vegetarians & Non-Vegetarians

If you’ve successfully completed Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and Day 5, then the sixth day is surely the best day of the diet and is also more rewarding. By now, you should see that your body is much lighter than before and you’ll also feel that your body is fresh, all thanks to the first 3 days of detoxification and cleansing.

The Day 6 of GM diet is considered as a feast day as you can eat beef (or alternatives said in Day 5) along with a wide variety of vegetables you want. You’ll already see a lot of changes in your body and many followers of 7 day GM diet are expected to lose as much as 10 lbs or 4 kgs. Not only that, because of the fruit+vegetable consumption, you’ll see a different glow in your skin today.

How to Prepare Yourself for GM Diet Day 6?

As your body is already in an auto-mode of losing the extra fat through increased metabolic processes, all you need to give your body is some protein and fiber. You can get the protein from beef while fiber can be achieved eating vegetables. Apart from this you should also push your body to pursue lively activities or exercises, as this is the exact point where you need to test whether the diet has made any improvements to your immune system or not.

GM Diet Day 6 for Non-Vegetarians

Breakfast: Start with a bowl of mixed vegetables or vegetable soup with beef cutlets. Vegetables will give you a lot of fiber while beef will give you proteins.

Lunch: You can choose any Asian food at this period which is because most of the Asian food is made with vegetable and beef. But remember not to include potatoes or bread.

Dinner: If you feel tiresome, you can have a vegetable soup and a tasty hamburger made with beef or chicken.

Snacks & Beverages: You can continue to eat meat and vegetable even during the snack period. However, it is advised to eat greens for mid morning snacks and beef during afternoon snack time. The reason here is simple – your appetite should be at normal levels so that it wouldn’t crave for other foods.

Apart from these Water is your best friend. Coconut water may also be taken during midnoon but it may spoil your appetite by dinner.

GM Diet Day 6 Non-Veg Recipes

Beef and Vegetable Soup on Day 6 GM Diet

1] Beef and Vegetable Kebab

Ingredients:
  • Beef cubes – 6 (you can substitute it with chicken or Paneer)
  • Red Tomato – 1
  • Yellow Bell Pepper – 1
  • Onion - 1
Preparation:

Slice all the mentioned vegetables into quarter inches and together with beef cubes (2 or 3 per stick), skew them on barbecue sticks. Baste them with butter and also season with salt and pepper as needed then grill on open fire until beef is tender and soft. It is for 3 servings.

Points to remember:
  • No juices or potatoes in your diet on Day 6.
  • If you’re a vegetarian or don’t like Beef, you can substitute it with other items such as chicken, roasted turkey, Paneer (Indian cheese).
  • Drink enough water (10-14 glasses).

GM Diet Day 6 for Vegetarians

Like I said in the previous day's menu for vegetarians, you can make a brown rice pulao with sprouts and instead tomatoes, add your favorite vegetables since tomatoes are not allowed on this day. Those who don't like brown rice can replace it with regular white rice, but should add Cottage cheese (Indian paneer) along with sprouts and veggies while preparing the pulao. This pulao can be had for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

During the morning and evening snacks time, you can drink the cabbage soup.

Once you’ve successfully completed the Day 6 of GM Diet, you can then move to GM Diet Day 7 where you’ll be having a surprise.

  8. Hi Sahantha,
Could you tell me if black tea would be ok to have on this diet? I usually have a cup every morning with 2% milk and some sugar. I tried stopping all together but I was getting bad headaches, plus the headaches and weakness from the first 3 days of the diet...too much to bare. Any substitutes if not? Also, for the Asian food, should we skip any sauces that come with the chicken/beef and vegetables? And, would mung bean starch be ok to have on this diet?
Thanks so much for your time! The 1st 3 days of the diet were tough, but it definitely got better! I don't think a drank enough water on the diet, plus having the tea with milk and sugar didn't give my the results that I was looking for. I'm gonna take a week off then start the diet again now that I know better what I'm doing.

  9. Dear Sahantha,

I read almost all FAQ’s and information on your blog/site. I sincerely appreciate your patience and great attitude towards your willingness to help people.

I came to know about GM diet just 2 weeks ago and immediately I have practiced it genuinely. After seven days I lost about only 3KG’s which was disappointing because I read other people saying that they lost about 6 to 7 KG’s in seven days. So I took break for 2 days and again I have been practicing the GM diet and today is my 6th day. So far I lost about only 2KG’s which is even more disappointing. I don’t know what mistake I’m doing. I would like to write down what I have been eating throughout my diet plan.

Day 1: Had only watermelon through out the day.
Day 2: Had medium size baked potato in the morning and then rest of the day only
vegetables which are sautéed in one table spoon olive oil.
    Day 3: Combination of day1 and 2.
Day 4: 1 liter of skimmed milk and 7 small sized bananas through out the day.
Day 5: One cup of brown rice in the morning along with tomato fry curry which made
with 2 table spoon olive oil. In the evening one cup of brown rice cooked with
tamato and 2 table spoon olive oil.

Along with the above mentioned diet plan I had 12 to 15 glasses of water everyday. I get up at 5AM and go out for morning walk and running (combination of both walking and running) from 5.30am – 6.30am. After this I also do yoga (breathing exercises, kapal bhati) from 7am till 8am.

Now my question is, I do all this so genuinely but disappointing issue is that I’m not losing much of weight. My age is 39, height is 5.6 ft. and my weight was 80KG. In my first GM diet practice I was able to reduce till 3 KG’s so my weight was reduced to 77 KG’s. Now after 5 days of immediate 2nd practice of GM diet plan, I’m able to reduce another ONLY 2 KG’s. So my current weight is 75. I wanted to reduce at least 6 KG’s in each 7 days of GM diet practice. Can you help me to understand why I’m not losing much of weight as desired? Appreciate your attention and patience. Please help.

    1. hello aravind, the weight loss results depend mainly on the metabolism, which varies with each individual. if your body's metabolic rate is good, then you'll lose more, else less. pls make the following changes in your diet.

day 1,2,3,4: drink more water; less or no exercise
day 5,6,7: drink more soup; practice this HIIT workout 3 repetions.

you'll definitely lose weight this time..next time, give a gap of at least 5 to 7 days between the diet or else your body will not register the foods..hope you get it.. all the best :)
